1. The Syllabus of Sr. Secondary has been revised from 2008-09. 

2. Question Paper of the ODES Sr. Secondary is based on the Question Bank of new syllabus only.

Process of Registration	Procedure and schedule for change of subject for Learners of stream 3 & 4

Note : The Students who have already registered with NIOS and have valid Enrolment No should not register here. They should regsiter under existing learner (On Demand Examination link) to appear in the On Demand Examination. Such Students having valid Enrolment number and Identity Card of NIOS.

Availability	Available On Line throughout the year. The admission under this stream is limited to the availability of seats in ODES at Sr.Secondary with a option of Examination Centre at NIOS Headquarter or at the Regional Centre.
Eligibility	The following category of learners are eligible for Online Admission Stream IV 1. Learners who have already passed Sr.Secondary or above from recognized Board/University and want to take part admission in one subject or up to 4 subjects for updating their qualification as well as the learners should have passed Secondary class (class 10th) from any recognized Board. OR 2. The learners who had appeared but could not clear or were eligible to appear but could not appear the Public Examination of Sr.Secondary Level from any recognized Examination Board and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS at Sr.Secondary level as well as the learners should have passed Secondary class (class 10th) from any recognized Board.
Minimum Age	16 (Sixteen) years as on the date of application. The supporting document required for the proof of age is Attested copy of the Certificate Of Matriculation/ Secondary Examination having a record of the Date of Birth. No Other proof of age will be accepted for Online Admission for On-Demand Examination at Sr. Secondary.
Subjects	At present the followings subjects namely Hindi (301), English (302), Mathematics (311), Physics (312), Chemistry (313), Biology (314),Geography (316), Political Sc.(317), Economics (318), Business Studies (319), Accountancy (320), Home Science (321), Psychology (328), Sociology (331), Painting (332),Environmental Science (333) and Data Entry Operations (336) are available under ODES. The more subjects will be included in due course of time.
Mode of Examination	Learners registering under this scheme will be allowed to appear in the Examination only through On Demand Examinationmode. In any circumstances/case they will not be allowed to appear in the Examination through the Public Examinationconducted by NIOS during October/Nov. and April/May.
Declaration of Result	Every month for the exams held during the previous month.
Marksheet/Certificate	The candidate has to submit an Application form along with a bank draft of Rs. 100/- & the Internet Result copy to Marks & Migration Unit to obtain the Marksheet/Certificate
Fees	Registration Fee Exam Fee TOC Fee Change/Additional Subject fee Rs.350 Rs. 500/- per subject for Theory, Additional Rs. 200/-for Practical per subject Rs. 100/- per subject Rs. 600/- per subject
Study Material	Either download from the website or send the requisition to NIOS
Personal Contact Programme (PCP)	No PCP
Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA)	No TMA
Examination for Theory	At the NIOS HQ at NOIDA and at the Regional Centre of NIOS ODE Examination hall. Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (For Regional Centres) and Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday & Friday for HQ NOIDA 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm
Practical Exam	Friday or Saturday at NIOS AI (study centre) or at another reputed school.Timing as announced on the day of Theory paper
Examination Timings 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Transfer of Credit(TOC)	As per NIOS norms
Instructions	Please take one Printout (NIOS Copy) of filled in Admission Form. Please put your signature and paste passport size photograph on the printed Application Form and send it within 5 Days from the date of Registration to, Assistant Director(SSS) National Institute of Open Schooling Online Admissions cell A-24/25, Institutional Area,Sector 62, NOIDA U.P - 201309 Attach the attested documents along with the printout of the filled in application form and get the photographs attested on the printed application form from Principal/Co-ordinator or Gazatted Officer/Tehsildar/District Magistrate. You should ensure that the particulars filled in the On Line Application Forms are correct. Photograph : You should scan your photograph and save it in the form of .jpg file for uploading the same if the application without the scanned photograph is submitted then the application will be rejected. Fees : There will be two options for the payment of fees: (A) The fee can be deposited On-line through Credit Card/Debit card, or  (B) Through Bank Draft in favour of Secretary, NIOS payable at NOIDA. Pl. mention your Reference No. and Name at the back of the Bank Draft.
Documents Required to be sent along with the Printout of the filled in Online Admission Form	Attested copy of the Certificate Of Matriculation/Secondary Examination having a record of the Date of Birth. (No Other proof of age will be accepted for Sr. Secondary admission) If passed Class XII, then attested copy of the Marksheet/Certificate of Class XII, ELSE Original failure/compartment Marksheet of class XII for TOC.
